How It Works

• Choose Your Slate: Pick from our range, i.e natural riven, honed, or brushed slabs 

• Provide Your Dimensions: We'll cut the slab into a square or rectangle based on your dimensions, accurate to within +/- 2mm

• Clean Cuts: All edges will have a machine-cut, straight edge.

• Sealing Included: Your slab comes sealed at no extra cost.

This service is designed to be simple, cost-effective and quick.  The following is not included :

1. Whilst most slabs can be cut, there may be some cases where some sizes are not offered 

2. We will only cut shapes that are square or rectangular 

3. The edge finishing is limited to a machine straight cut finish - no bevel, no polishing, etc 

4. Delivery is standard only - an express option is not available as we need time to schedule the cutting

The basic cutting charge is as follows :

1. For the first slab £100

2. Each additional slab is £75

Each slab is cut-to-size, cleaned and sealed 

All prices exclude VAT
Delivery applies to all areas of England and Wales
Other areas are subject to a surcharge 

Example 1: Natural Riven Slate Hearth

1. You require a natural riven slate hearth with the following measurements: 1000 x 750 x 20mm. 

2. You want the slab to be uniform in appearance and very flat with no harsh ridges

3. You need the slab delivered within 5 working days 

4. Delivery is within England and Wales 

Your requirement 

1. Natural Riven Slate Hearth (type)

2. Premium selection  - (uniform appearance)

3. 1200 x 900 x 20mm (off the shelf hearth)

4. Basic cutting for 1 slab only 

Costs Breakdown

1. £76.80  - This is the cost of a Natural Riven 1200 x 900 x 20mm (Premium slab) from stock

2. £100.00 - Basic cutting service to cut from the original 1200 x 900 to 1000 x 750mm

3. £65.00 - Standard Delivery 3-5 working days
