The Technical Breakdown
The Problem with Premium: In the trade, "Premium" slabs are prized for their uniformity and low profile. However, when put through a high-speed brushing line, these flat surfaces offer no "relief." The result is a monotonous, satin-flat finish that lacks grip and visual depth.
The Standard Advantage: We exclusively use Standard-Grade Natural Riven Slabs because the brushing process relies on the stone’s natural undulating topography.
High-Point Polishing: The brushes hit the peaks of the riven surface, creating a subtle sheen.
Low-Point Texturing: The valleys remain matte and raw, providing the "character" and slip resistance your clients expect.
Result: A high-contrast, multi-dimensional finish that hides scratches and wear far better than a flat-brushed premium slab.
